I bought the 2020 Africa Twin DCT AS. I like its looks, lower weight, new electronics, suspension, new frame, and DCT more than what the GSA had to offer. Most of all, the deciding factor came down to reliability. Too many issues with the Euro bikes. I believe the new AT offers the most complete package today. #16.
There is always at least one guy who calls my 2016 Africa Twin DCT a "scooter". I love my 998cc scooter with auto tranny Let those 'have-nots' call it whatever, that makes them less jealous, LOL PS make sure you are familiar with the normal clunking noise to differentiate with other noises coming from or near the gearbox.
Oil spilled at the time they over filled it was a dead give away since it ran down the engine case and looked to be an oil leak on the stator cover initially. That wasn't a leak it was spilled oil but the 1/2 qt over filled was real. I drained it out and it has been fine since. The pump leaking was present day one after the 2 mile PDI ride was
2) Sat on bike with side stand up. 3) Shut bike off with the key. 4) While holding down the D button, turn the bike on with key, as soon as the engine light went out (on the LCD, not waiting for the TFT to load), pushed DDNDN. 5) waiting about 3-5 seconds and started the engine. 6) Turned the engine off with the key.
Qualität/Defekte. Die neue Africa Twin ist inzwischen (2018) in ihrem dritten Modelljahr angekommen und hat ein wenig Modellpflege erfahren (siehe Modellvarianten ). Dass ich das erste Modelljahr gekauft habe, birgt ein gewisses Risiko, da kein Motorrad frei von 'Kinderkrankheiten' ist. Aber der gute Ruf, den Honda bei der Qualität genießt
